Anguilla hosting 3rd annual Anguilla Cup tournament

It is part of the Caribbean Cup Tennis Series and is the brainchild of Karl Hale, the Rogers Cup Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament director who was born in Jamaica. The series is to promote youth development on the island by inviting the players up to the Rogers Cup, clinics on the island with ATP pros and a scholarship programme to assist players getting US tennis scholarships….

Caribbean Cup Series Expands

Rogers Cup tournament director Karl Hale, a native of Jamaica, is expanding a series of events in the Caribbean.

The proceeds go to charity. And the tournaments – junior ITF, senior and exhibition – help raise the sport’s profile in the islands.

The newest event is in St. Vincent. The series is now up to six, with a “year-end” championship in Curaçao (winners get a trip to the US Open).

World Class Tennis in the Caribbean Awaits

Karl HaleRogers Cup Tournament Director and Jamaican born, teamed up with the Merchant of Tennis and over 100 people on Feb 8th, 2018 in Leaside to launch the Caribbean Cup Tennis Series, which comprises of six masters tournaments in Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Cayman, Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Year End Championships in Curacao.  The launch was a great evening that raised over $10,000 for Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation.
